The Museum of Antiquities is located in an architectural monument of the 15th–18th centuries — the former Armenian Bishop’s House in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Several exhibition halls and an inner courtyard display more than a thousand artifacts that introduce visitors to the earliest history of Podillia — from ancient tribes and their daily life to the period of Kyivan Rus.

Stephen Báthory Tower

The Stephen Báthory Tower is one of the most famous defensive structures in Kamianets-Podilskyi. It was built between 1564 and 1585 on the site of an ancient 13th-century city gate, financed by the Polish king Stephen Báthory. In the 18th century, during reconstruction, the tower was expanded to seven tiers, which is why it later became known as the Seven-Tier Tower.
The tower is associated with historical events and local legends. Through the Wind Gate, which forms part of the complex, Taras Shevchenko entered the city in 1846. Today, the structure is an architectural monument and an important element of the historic fortifications of Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Ruska Gate
