About exhibition

"Ukraine. The World of Trypillia" is a virtual journey into the world of one of the most well-known archaeological cultures of Europe, which existed on the territory of modern Ukraine over 7,000 years ago. The Trypillian culture (Cucuteni–Trypillia) developed in the 6th–4th millennia BC on the territory of modern Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania. It is known for its large settlements, painted ceramics, clay figurines, and complex organization of living space.

The project consists of two main parts — a virtual museum exhibition and a reconstruction of a Trypillian settlement, united within a single digital space. The exhibition allows visitors to see behind the archaeological artifacts not merely objects, but also the people themselves — their everyday life, knowledge, traditions, and way of life.

The project "Ukraine. The World of Trypillia" was implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund. The concept was developed by the NGO "Nasha Osnova" in strategic partnership with the CF "MHP-Hromadi." The Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, and the Kyiv Regional Archaeological Museum (a communal institution of the Kyiv Regional Council) were involved in the project's implementation.
