About exhibition
"The Kyiv Principality of the 14th–15th Centuries: The Ukraine's Impact on European Security" opens a little-known page of Ukrainian history and dismantles the myth of Kyiv's decline following the Mongol invasion. Discover how the Kyiv Principality restored statehood, protected the European space from threats from the East, fought for the independence of the Kyiv Metropolitanate, and became one of the key political and military centres of Eastern Europe.
Explore the exposition in 360° format, listen to an audio guide, read descriptions of the exhibits, and complete an interactive quest with 20 questions.
The project was implemented under the patronage of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and in collaboration with researchers from Sweden and Lithuania.
